Faustrecht (en)

Oi! Bois! Could you please introduce yourselves and tell us anything about your jobs, hobbies, age and family status (because of fan girls? Haha).
The first line-up back in 1994 consisted out of Nogge/Vox, Pep/Guitar, Andreas/Bass and Dynamo on the drums. In this line up the Band practised only 2 or 3 times. So they dissolved the Band again. In spring of 1995 Band activities started again with following line-up: Nogge/Vox, Pep/Guitar,
Thomi on the drums and me (Michi) on the bass. The line-up changed many times during the years and the current line-up is Nogge/Vox/38/Technician in metal works, Rainer/Guitar/35/Painter,
Werner/Drums/26/Shiftworker, Markus/Guitar/32/Mason and me on the Bass/38/Landscape gardener. All of us, except Rainer, are in a relationship.
Our hobbies are watching and playing football and of course making music.

I think you played in Czech republic a few years ago. Do you remember this gig? Did you enjoy it? In which countries have you already played and which audience do you love the most? :-) Is it hard for you to travel and spend the time and money on the roads during your singing? Is it hard to find any free time for doing this?
We never played in the Czech Republic before. Last year we were supposed to play in Pilsen, but before it was our turn to enter the stage, heavy armed police forces attacked the venue and stopped the gig. We were told to leave Pilsen. A real pity, we rather had played…
We rocked the stages all over Europe already, it were too many gigs to mention separately. Well, we always loved to play abroad and every gig was a special one to us. It’s not the travelling that is hard, but the Monday after a gig is the hard thing for us. Cause then we have to pay the toll for every single beer, haha.

There is really fuckin strong police oppression and it is very hard or impossible to organize skinhead/RAC gig here! Is the same situation in Germany? Do you play often in your Fatherland or just more often abroad? Do you have any problems with the ACAB ?
Nowadays some bands turned to street punk views. It is more often than in history. Do you meet some punks on your shows too? Or do you have just pure strict skinhead audience under the stage? :-)
The persecution of Nationalists in Germany gets stronger every year. Also they change the laws often to make it difficult for us to organize demonstrations or concerts. So, I am sure we have the worst situation here in Germany. Because of this we do not play very often in our Fatherland.
In Germany we saw some Punks in the past, but not many. The audience at our gigs is a mixed one, Skinheads, Hard/Hate core guys and some long haired fellows sometimes…

You are very interested in the real national socialist ideology and attitude and you spread the message Sozialismus oder Tod! This is the only truth I guess! But you wrote once in some interview that you had some problems because of it with some groups or sections...Tell me more about this. People in Germany don’t understand you? Why???
Well, there were some guys in Germany who said that we are Communists and left-wing traitors. Those people forgot that the word National Socialism consists out of two words. Meanwhile the situation calmed down and I think that most of them have recognized what we really mean.

Could you describe evolution of your music from the first CD to your last stuff? Are you still better and better? :-) Do you practise any new songs? When the new CD will be OUT? I am too inpatient, haha!
I think we created our own style of music and were not influenced by other styles and directions. Of course we approved our musical abilities with the years, especially the last 3 years. In my opinion the result of our musical development can be heard at best at our last Album (“Das Recht zu hassen”). Because I think it is the most diversified album from us till now. Last weekend we finished the recordings of our new album called “Straßensozialisten” and we hope that it will be released in the beginning of November, we will see…
Which bands did inspire you and which artists do you listen to usually? Do you listen to any Czech or Slovak bands too? Are you interested in Black Metal or Hate core bands too? Or do you think it has not to do with skinheads!?
Like I mentioned in the question before we were not inspired or influenced by other styles and bands. We usually listen to old school Punk and Oi!, current and classic RAC as well, sometimes a little bit SKA and some older Metal Bands also.
Black Metal and Hate core we refuse, maybe we’re too old for that, I don’t know.

Political Correctness is a cancer, isn’t it? Do you think it is nowadays the most hated enemy inside the society? Or what is worse than this stream? Or what would you like to change now if you could?
Political correctness is THE cancer nowadays, cause you can not call a rascal a rascal anymore. Political correctness is nothing more than the curtailment of freedom of speech. It is one of the great evil today. Of course I would let it disappear if I could.

Me and nobody here remember what was happened in 1969. But it was the start of the skinhead increase! Do you follow the spirit of 69“ or do you call yourself more modern skinhead or punk?
We are traditionalists in everything we do, so I would say we are more “old school” than modern Skinheads.
To us the Skinhead cult is still very important, but all in all a sub cultural thing. It is our way of life and not the way we express our political attitude. You see, if we weren’t Skinheads our political attitude would still be the same.
To us being a Skinhead means to be different to the dumb mass of people. To have our kind of clothes, music and kind of living. We don’t care what others say and have a strong and firm conviction. We love our country and are proud to be members of the Working-class.

Are you interested in politics? Is there any European party which do you like and follow or read their steps? I think it is very hard to find some good choice, so many people are boring by political scene“. Which party could be really for-Working Class and Socialist but with really patriotic point of views?
We are not the typical ”political soldiers”, but in spite of that we see ourselves as political people. There is no German or European party in which we are interested in. We believe that a real change can not be reached by a so called democratic election.

Many skinheads don’t want to fight when they are married or older :-) Is this your case too? Do you practise any fighting or full contact sports? Are you interested in football league?
Well, we’re not practising street fight anymore, cause we got older and, much more important, wiser. If you do not fight every weekend anymore, doesn’t mean that you’re a coward or something like that, or what? We learned when it is time to fight or not. That’s all…
Also we’re not practising any fighting or full contact sport.
We sometimes watch football on TV, but we prefer to play it ourselves.

With which band would you like to share the Stage?
Is German scene strong and powerful? Tell us your opinion on apolitical“ skinhead bands or Oi!Bands. I know in Germany there are a lot of them!!! Do you accept apolitical“ skinhead way of life?
There is no special Band with which we want to share the stage, the main thing is that they are comrades and good people…
We do not like and we even do not accept “apolitical” Skinheads, cause they are no real Skinheads, just cowards. Unfortunately there are a lot of them in Germany, right. On our new album will be a song with this topic. It’s some kind of “pay off”
with this gutless wankers.

You answered me that apolitical skins are wankers”. Why? Is it because they are apolitical like the most of ordinary people too? Or because they live partly in apathy and dont care about the future of the nation ? Could you please explain me it again?
About your questions. Well, I also said that we see  ourselves as political people. Those so called Skinheads who say they are SHARPS or Oi's are in our opinion nothing more than wankers, cause they are too cowardly to have a point of view. They don't want to scandalise with other people or to get in trouble. So they are no Skinheads, just cowards. On the other hand it also got something to do with the thing you mentioned. That they don't care about the future of our Nation and our people.

What about religion? Is it better to be interested in old pagan german religion or Asatru of Vikings or just is it better to believe in christian God like in European tradition? Or is it better to believe in ourselves? :-)
Also we are no religious people.  We don't believe in a christian god, wether in any pagan religion. If somebody does, it is ok to us. Yes, we prefer to believe in ourselves. On the other hand it's surely not wrong to be interested in German pagan religion, cause it is a part of our history.

Are you proud of your ancestors? I think if you are proud of your German soldiers during the 2nd World War...Many people say they were slaytanic machines“...what about your opinion like a Germans? I think they were one of the best soldiers of the world! Maybe the best one!
Of course we are proud of our ancestors, like you surely are of yours.
World War II is a dark chapter of Europe’s history. I don’t care if many people say that our soldiers were “slaytanic machines”. Cruel deeds occurred on every side, so why should we take the blame and the whole guild for that?
To me, as a German, our soldiers surely were the best ones. But I also give respect, to the others, which fought and died for their land.

What would you like to tell our readers? Which message would you like to spread to the world?
Thanks for this interview and for giving us the chance to introduce ourselves to your readers. Stay true to yourself and keep up the fight!                                                                     - F A U S T R E C H T  2 0 1 0 –
