FORBIDDEN RAGE

You have got name „Forbidden Rage“. Are you frustrated and full of hate? Which thing do you hate the most from the whole heart?
****Yes I think we are a band full of rage and frustration. Most of our frustration is directed towards our goverment and it´s bad way of ruling our land.

Which stuff is banned or forbidden in Sweden? I know there is banned celtic cross in Germany for example. Does your government stand against runes, symbols or against skinheads?
****No. In Sweden the old runes are our history, and they are not forbidden.
The only thing that is against the law is Swastikas in public areas.
There are no rules against skinheads or against belives and formings of democratic or faschist parties.

Do you keep connection with Bikers ? Is it strong brotherhood? Are there any fights between members of Bikers clubs in your country?
****Yes. We have friends in different biker clubs. We usually don´t socialise with them often. But from time to time. They are good friends. And in the bigger bikerclubs there are fights just like in the rest of the world.

Skinhead means a lot for you…which situation or what could change your way of life? Is there any possible reason why not to call ourselves skinheads? Or is this the strongest faith in our hearts?
****Change our way of life?? No, we were born like this, and will die like this.
And we do not belive that anything could stop you from calling yourself a skinhead.

A skinhead is a skinhead. Political or apolitical. Being a skinhead is not about politics.

But of course any skinhead have their own individual belives. Just like punks or metalheads do.

Many band play apolitical oi! now. Are there any other bands (ex-right wing) like The Jinx, Riot (Storm) or yours ? ;-)
****Many bands want to get back to their roots of punk or Oi! music.
There is nothing wrong with that. Just like Jonesy from English rose have done with TMF.

Some people from the past change their attitudes..Kev from Skullhead, George Burdi from Rahowa, maybe a little bit Jonsey from English Rose…what is the main reason? What do you think about them?
****Jonesy is a personal friend of ours. And he still belive in the same things he always have. And Skullhead have always been a fantastic band. Political or not.

So why bother? Would you like someone to tell you what to think? Everyone should be entitled to their own view regarding whatever. We don´t care.

Vikings…Are you interested in their faith? Are you proud of these ancestors? Or do you know about any black negative point on their history?
****Well, vikings are a big part of our history. And we are proud of it.
Really interesting to read about the old tales.

Many nordic people drink a lot of Alcohol and have depressions and other problems. Your nature is wild and beautiful but the sun is too low…Do you feel any depression too? Is it hard to live in the North?
****Hahaha... We do??? No, we do not feel depressed at all. Quite the opposite. We meet alot of friends, playing our music and drink great beer.
We have nothing to be depressed about. Life is what you make of it my friend!!

Which are your the most popular bands? And why?
****For us, or all in all?? For us it´s hard to say, since we are individuals.
But of course the old Oi! legends have a big place in our hearts.

Are you interested in Politics? Can politics change the world? Or are the politicians only figures in the hands of rich magnats and capitalists?
****Same as above. We are individuals and cannot answer that question as a band.
But all in all we try to think of better things than partypolitics. We all vote of course. But in different parties. But to answer the followup questions.
Politics can change some things. But not everything.

And yes... All politics are capitalistic scum who only think of their own wellbeing instead of the people.

Do you play concerts very often? Maybe you have got children and families…do you have enough time for playing?
**** Forbidden rage have always been a studioband only. But we will actually play our first gig ever in June at the Swedish Kuggnas festival. It will be Bisson on vocals only, and Battle scarred (Puncc, Pitch and Pontan) as the band behind him.
It will be really fun. And if it goes well. Perhaps we will play live again???
Bisson is the only one who have kids, 2 daughters. But there will always be time for playing music.

You have got song about The spirit of 69? Whats your opinion?
****Again. We cannot talk about oppinions as a band, since we are individuals with different viewpoints on everything. But 1969 was the beginning of it all, no matter where your political views are.

Right?

How you can see the Future for Europe? Which way is the right one? There is melting pot all around..is this the right way?
****Difficult to say. With good comes bad, and vice versa. Let´s just have a beer and ponder it for a while...

Capitalism versus socialism? Where is the Solution ? I know ´some´ can tell me definitly „Socialism on the national bases“ ;-)
****I think ´they´ came up with the perfect answer. I rest my case.

Punks and skins…which culture is better? Haha
****They both are. Together! The whole band have experienced the both cultures.
And they are both great. So a mix of them would be the perfect culture. Just like we live now...

With which band would you like to play?
****Skullhead and the Toy dolls.

What would you like to mention here, at the end of this interview?
****We´d like to say thank you for the interview, and to all the people who have already or will in the future buy our records. Make sure to have a look at our other projects aswell.

Do you thik that internet kills our scene? Is there still place for paper printed skinzines? Or people are so lazy and find information on the internet only?
****We really hope printed fanzines will live on forever. They are simply the best!

The internet is a great help for a lot of things for our scene. No doubt about it.

But it have also helped to destroy alot of the old style.
